Begonia Benigo Pink - 2" Unrooted/Lightly Rooted

$11.99

Begonia Benigo Pink “Pink Spots” has wing-shaped leaves in bronze-green with hot pink polka dots that later fade, and deep, reddish-purple undersides. Can reach up to 2 feet tall and bear clusters of white flowers. This is considered a “cane begonia” which are some of the most beginner-friendly begonias around!

This plant was propagated from my mother plant and potted in sphagnum moss/perlite in-home :)

Begonia Benigo Pink Care:

  • Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light. If you don’t give this plant enough light, you may find that the plant becomes leggy (a lot of space between leaves) as it searches for more light.

  • Water: Allow the top 1 or 2 inches of the soil the dry out between waterings. Begonias are prone to root rot if overwatered. As a general note, begonias love humidity but not to be misted directly (water left on the leaves can create mildew)

  • Soil: Right now, THIS plant is potted in moss/perlite. When you have 2-3 inches of established roots, you can move it over into loose, well-draining, chunky soil. I use a potting mix with worm castings, add perlite, and orchid bark!
