The Begonia Maculata, commonly known as the “polka dot begonia” or “angel wing begonia”, is a striking tropical cane-like houseplant native to the rainforests of Brazil.
Fully rooted. This plant was propagated from my beloved mother plant and potted up in-home :)
Begonia Maculata Care:
Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light. If you don’t give this plant enough light, you may find that the plant becomes leggy (a lot of space between leaves) as it searches for more light.
Water: Allow the top 1 or 2 inches of the soil the dry out between waterings. Begonias are prone to root rot if overwatered.
Soil: Loose, well-draining, chunky soil. I use a potting mix with worm castings, add perlite, and orchid bark!
