Philodendron Burle Marx is characterized by its large, broad, spade-shaped leaves that exhibit a deeply incised and pinnate structure. The leaves are glossy and emerald green. This variety naturally branches and grows pups, creating a full, bushy plant.
Unrooted/lightly rooted top cut. This plant was propagated from my beloved mother plant and potted in-home in a sphagnum moss/perlite mix :)
Burle Marx Care:
Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light. Can definitely tolerate medium light.
Water: Allow the top 1 or 2 inches of the soil the dry out between waterings.
Soil: Right now, THIS plant is potted in moss/perlite. When you have 2-3 inches of established roots, you can move it over into loose, well-draining, chunky soil. I use a potting mix with worm castings, add perlite, and orchid bark!
