The painted lady philodendron is a stunning hybrid that is prized for its highly variegated large green and yellow leaves, pink and red petioles, and climbing growth habit. It is a favorite among collectors and philodendron enthusiasts but is also becoming popular among regular growers.
Fully rooted. This plant was propagated and potted in-home in a chunky soil mix :)
Painted Lady Care:
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light to maintain the splashy variegation. While it can tolerate low light, the growth will slow, may revert, or become leggy (lots of space between the leaves) while it searches for more light.
Water: Allow the top 1 or 2 inches to feel fully dry between waterings. Can be sensitive to overwatering.
Soil: Loose, well-draining, chunky soil. I use a potting mix with worm castings, add perlite, and orchid bark!
