Rhaphidophora tetrasperma, or the “Mini Monstera”, is a reasonably modern houseplant that does exceptionally well indoors if given proper care. It has only really become popular and grown as an indoor plant within the last five years.
Unrooted/lightly rooted cuttings potted on 9/15/26. This plant was propagated from my mother plant and potted in-home in a sphagnum moss/perlite mix :)
Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma Care:
Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light so it can maintain its variegation. Can tolerate low-medium light.
Water: Allow the top 1 or 2 inches of the soil the dry out between waterings. Avoid letting the plant sit in soggy substrate.
Soil: Right now, THIS plant is potted in moss/perlite. When you have 2-3 inches of established roots, you can move it over into loose, well-draining, chunky soil. I use a potting mix with worm castings, add perlite, and orchid bark!
