The Swiss Cheese Plant (AKA Monstera Adonsonii) is a striking houseplant known for its large, heart-shaped leaves that develop holes as they age, resembling Swiss cheese. This plant can climb up a moss pole or grow into graceful, trailing vines.
Fully rooted. This plant was propagated from my beloved mother plant and potted in-home in a chunky soil mix :)
Adonsonii Care:
Light: Prefers bright, indirect sunlight to thrive.
Water: Allow the top 1 or 2 inches of soil to be fully dry between waterings. Monsteras like evenly moist soil but NOT soggy.
Soil: Right now, THIS plant is potted in moss/perlite. When you have 2-3 inches of established roots, you can move it over into loose, well-draining, chunky soil. I use a potting mix with worm castings, add perlite, and orchid bark!
